Laura’s therapeutic approach revolves around the union of rehabilitation, development, and the continual nurturing of cognitive, motor, speech, and social-emotional skills. Within this, their philosophy is client-centered, interdisciplinary, and fueled by positive reinforcement. Laura holds a strong belief that the innate strengths of each individual should be the cornerstone for treatment planning.

With an interest in how the brain works, Laura strives to harness the power of neuroscience within the practice of music therapy. They believe that the lives of their clients can be enriched by unlocking the neurological potential inherent in music. Laura holds a Bachelor’s of Music Therapy from the Berklee College of Music and is a Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow.

Laura’s skills are evident in their music therapy sessions. They are unwaveringly supportive, a rock of reliability, and possess an inventiveness that breathes life into their practice. Laura is also a beloved supervisor for our intern music therapists at Earthtones Northwest.
