Earthtones Horticultural Therapy Internship
Earthtones offers exceptional training opportunities in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Our 7 month or 14 month, part time internship program offers a unique experience that challenges and transforms your abilities as a budding horticultural therapist. You will complete your internship having developed your therapeutic style and several professional relationships in the community. Our internship program is known for the quality and breadth of supervision offered and is catered to your needs as an individual. We accept interns who work creatively and who are sensitive to the needs of diverse clinical settings. Ideal applicants possess stellar communication skills and thrive in an energetic work environment.

Horticultural Therapy Internship Facts
Primary clinical populations served: Primary clinical populations served: 1:1 and groups, adults with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, Parkinson’s, stroke, adults with developmental disabilities, adult mental health, and more.
Mileage reimbursement: none
Transportation: a car is required to travel to 2-4 locations per day
Equipment: Earthtones has offices and a clinical studio located at Taborspace in beautiful southeast Portland. Our office space houses a computer, internet access, a printer, laminator, & desk space. There is a wide variety of horticultural therapy supplies available in our office as well as weekly perishable HT supplies and plant material available to interns.
